They work out rather well these pictures although some are stronger images than others in the set. I’ve been wondering what it is that I find appealing about these quotidian pictures you take, aside from the ‘surface’ of the images, and I think the appeal at least to western eyes may have something to do with the “exotic”. So I wonder what you thought about that as you’re living out there. Do you still visualise ‘otherness’ and is that maybe coming across in the pictures.
Perhaps. I enjoy my images from home just as much though to be fair. And of course, there will always be some better. I just shared most the the one roll I shot. Not sure I feel the otherness like I did long ago. I’ve been here so long now it feels like home.
