Purge

Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul, South Korea.

Last week, I deleted just about every photo I ever took. Everything from my hard drive. My Lightroom backups and libraries. I hated it all and it all had to get rid of it.

What a fucking relief. Felt like graduating high school.

I went out that night and decided shit is going to be different.

My social media will be next. Clean slate, clean conscience, a sick fucking city, and a camera.

  1. I’ve really considered this as well. I have a library of over 18,000 pictures. Sure, most are family photos, me and my fiancé, etc. But my other stuff, I probably have about 3,000 from shooting the streets. I hate half of it, but I am also aware of their importance in helping to create the photographer I am today. With that in mind, I have decided to put them away on an external, away in my closet – similar to putting old photos in shoebox. I would love to show these to my children one day, show them where I began..

But kudos to you for having the guts to do this! Really excited to keep checking out your work, man..
