The worth of a person has little to do with anything aside from whats between their ears and under their chest.
What’s behind their eyes.
People often try and manufacture wealth with money and clothes. Superficial things, those.
Only when a man is stripped of clothes and money; free of the superficial and bearing nothing more than his body and his soul can his worth be determined. His worth to others may change, but his self worth will only then become apparent.
“It was only when he’d showered, was naked looking in the mirror that he saw a glimpse of the man he really was.”
